All Medallions are customized and handmade by our Master Craftsman in Nova Scotia. Notice the variation of colors in the medallions. In Europe, these colors are NOT made through the use of different stains, but rather, the different colors are made by changing the SPECIES of the wood used. This is precisely how our medallions are made. As a result, the color in each medallion is throughout the whole thickness of the solid wood used in the medallion., not just by surface staining.

 

 

Borders
Borders can be a quaint enhancement to an otherwise plain floor. These are just a few samples of what can be used. For more elaborate borders, just ask.
